Thanks for the comment. I agree; it can be difficult to initiate change. It&#039;s easier for some to let things stay as they are, for various reasons. However, I am reminded of the old adage that the only constant is change, and I believe that everything should be looked at anew. Like it or not, change is here in a major way. My hope is that tech writers will step back and start rethinking standards, to determine how to adapt writing styles and methodologies to address the new realities.</description>

I&#039;ve tried to get this approach endorsed at a former company and was shot down. 

Why?

Because, the way it is is the way it is...

Some people are really terrified with the idea of change.
